History
The Group’s development has been tied to two main objectives, Specialist timber and wood protection. We have worked with wood protection since 1899, mainly for poles and sleepers. The oldest industry, which is still operating, was established in 1924. High quality rootstock, veneer log, has been a significant factor since the 1940s.
Since the 1990s considerable volumes of posts for agricultural use have been manufactured within the Group.
